LEGOLAND Florida is the park that finally gets the scale right for younger kids — smaller crowds, shorter lines, and rides genuinely built for a 6-year-old’s idea of a good time rather than a teenager’s. The whole resort leans into the classic bricks: play tables and pits full of them in the Legoland Hotel lobby, giant Lego sculptures scattered through the park, and hands-on build stations at nearly every turn. The attached water park has a lazy river you can float for as long as your patience holds out, plus slides scaled for smaller riders who aren’t ready for the big-park thrill rides yet. It’s a manageable, low-stress day compared to the mega-parks — easy to navigate, easy to keep the group together, and easy to leave without feeling like you missed half of it. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Championsgate/Davenport, so it works well as a change-of-pace day trip rather than a park-hop. Go earlier in the day when the Florida heat is more manageable, and let the kids loose in the Lego play areas between rides — that’s usually the part they remember most.
